This is where 4-H members betray their “friends” and celebrate as the animals are sold to the highest bidders, who typically take them to be slaughtered so that their flesh and other body parts can be sold. If you're a member of 4-H who's raising an animal for a project, don't let your friend be killed!
Accordingly, what animals does 4 h have?
4-H Animal Programs
- Horses.
- Dairy Cattle.
- Beef Cattle.
- Companion Animals.
- Goats.
- Sheep.
- Swine.
- Poultry.
Correspondingly, do you have to sell your 4 H animal?
NO EXCEPTIONS! A 4-H'er must be complete in the 4-H project in order to sell an animal in the 4-H livestock auction. The 4-H livestock auction is a SLAUGHTER ONLY sale. This means that 4-H'ers are NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE HOME THEIR SALE ANIMALS AFTER THE FAIR!
