Does Uniqlo do free alterations?

Alteration Services. We offer free normal lock stitch for selected UNIQLO pants priced $29.90 or more. For items priced less than $29.90 and for those requiring a blind stitch, only a $6 fee will be applied. Our alterations service only includes shortening the length of selected pants, and does not include tapering.

Shortening too-long jeans (aka hemming jeans) is generally the easiest alteration you can make to denim pants. A tailor or seamstress can shorten or hem jeans, either by cutting off some fabric and redoing the hems, or by taking up the hems in a way that doesn't involve cutting the fabric.
