As of this interview, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives has had 28 seasons. However, the show has still only visited 45 of the 50 states. Spots in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Arkansas, and Delaware have yet to be featured.

As devotees of the show know, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives generally features three restaurants per episode–but this isn't always the case, either. Some episodes feature two restaurants, and a 2/1 split for the dishes featured at each. Other episodes have featured a whopping four (?!?) restaurants.
