You can't turn off apresidentialalert, but you can turn off otheremergencynotifications. As the Internet continues to reactto thefirst test of President Donald Trump's newemergencyalert system, there is a way for you toturnthe feature off on Android and iOSdevices.
- Open your Messaging app.
- Tap the Menu button on the bottom right of your screen.
- Tap Settings and scroll down.
- Tap Emergency Alerts.
- Uncheck AMBER alerts. In this same menu you can disablesevereweather alerts too.
