In this way, did Korra break the Avatar Cycle?
No, she is merely the beginning of a new cycle. Her connection to the past avatars was destroyed, but uponmerging with Raava again, she became a full Avatar again. There's no indication that when she dies, the Avatar cyclewill end. Essentially, she's no different from Wan, the firstAvatar.
- Korra (Water Tribe, Southern Water Tribe)
- Aang (Air Nomads, Southern Air Temple)
- Roku (Fire Nation, Roku's island)
- Kyoshi (Earth Kingdom, now Kyoshi Island)
- Kuruk (Water Tribe, Northern Water Tribe)
- Yangchen (Air Nomads, Western Air Temple)
Also asked, will Korra ever meet Aang again?
All Korra needs to do is do the same thing andher connection to her past lives will come back. While even Korra admits that she may never connect with themagain, it is up to the writers to decide in the future. Theavatars don't have individual spirits. They're all the samesoul.
Korra was born to Tonraq and Senna in theSouthern Water Tribe following the death of Avatar Aang in153 AG. At the age of four, she proudly introduced herself to theOrder of the White Lotus as the new Avatar by performingwater-, earth-, and firebending before them.
