Considering this, what does ip44 rated mean?
IP44 specifically indicates protection from theintrusion of water. Lights which are IP44 rated are designedfor use in bathrooms and other environments where water spray is arisk. Not all bathroom lights are at risk of water intrusion andtherefore may not need to be IP44 rated.
