Herein, is pumice stone safe on toilets?
After all, pumice is a very hard, abrasive stone. Much like tile, porcelain is a very hard substance and pumice won't damage your toilet. Using a pumice stone won't damage or scratch your toilet but make sure you use it properly in the correct areas of the toilet.
Hereof, can you use a pumice stone on porcelain sink?
Be sure you use the wet end of the pumice stone when buffing out marks or stains. Because pumice is a type of volcanic glass, it will both sand any substance on your porcelain sink and fill it in with very fine pumice grounds. Wetting the pumice stone helps the pumice work as a filler.
Unfortunately, it is generally unwise to use pumice or steel wool on porcelain fixtures: while it may get rid of stains, it will also scratch the finish. This creates areas for stains and bacteria to adhere directly to the porcelain.
