Tropical rainforests have some of thelargestrivers in the world, like the Amazon, Madeira,Mekong,Negro, Orinoco, and Congo (Zaire), because of the tremendousamountof precipitation their watersheds receive.Thesemega-rivers are fed by countless smallertributaries,streams, and creeks.
