Still, plenty of apps require no Internetconnection or cellphone service at all to use. TheiPhone is a perfectly capable device without aservice provider or usage plan. You can use youriPhone without any cellular service.

Erasing all content and settings from an olderiPhone will not affect your new iPhone.Recognize that anything that you have saved on the oldiPhone that you didn't move or restore to the new onewill be lost unless saved somewhere else.
In a nutshell the iPhone 4 is stillusable, however is it worth having? IMO my answer is no, whichis based on security. The iPhone 4 can only run (or beupdated) to iOS 9.3.5 leaving the phone vulnerable which isa critical concern at the current time with anythingtechnology.
