technology and computing shareware and freewareWhat is a group of slides called in PowerPoint?
Also to know is, what are the different types of slides in PowerPoint?
In principle, PowerPoint slides can be split into three different categories, which can exist in their pure form or be combined with others:
- Text slides.
- Conceptual slides.
- Quantitative charts.
Keeping this in view, why is it called a slide deck?
“Deck” refers to a “deck of cards”. Before HTML was invented in the 80s, Apple had a hypertext product that used “decks” of “hypercards”. Each “hypercard” was analogous to a webpage, and each “deck” was analogous to a website. You had acetate slides one would pace on a projector.
Divider slides are viewed by many presenters as an unimportant – and even frivolous – part of a presentation. A slide containing a bulleted list of discussion topics at the beginning of each section is typically considered sufficient. Divider slides: Provide a clear, visual delineation between sections.
