MEBO was claimed to reduce severe pain of burns, prevents shock, and reduces dermal infections. Wound healing is promoted by prevention of dermal water loss. Additionally the vendor claimed that MEBO showed anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and analgesic effects.
Also question is, what does Mebo cream contain?
MEBO is an oil-based ointment containing sesame oil, beta-sitosterol, berberine, and other small quantities of plant ingredients. In addition, MEBO includes in its formula 18 amino acids, four major fatty acids, vitamins, and polysaccharides.
One may also ask, how long does Mebo cream take to work?
DO NOT remove affected tissue at this early stage. Every 4-6 hours gently wipe off the residual ointment and reapply. DO NOT use disinfectanct or water to clean the wound. Healing usually takes 6-7 days.
How to Use:
- Should be applied immediately as possible.
- A thin layer should cover the affected area and be applied 3 times daily.
- It is better to keep the wound exposed, but if there is a need, a light dressing can be used and relatively thicker layer should be applied.
