What is the latest CompTIA A+ exam?

13
A new A+ exam series, 220-1001 (Core 1) and 220-1002 (Core 2) became effective on January 15th, 2019, and the old series, 220-901 and 220-902, will be retired on July 31st, 2019.

Furthermore, what is the current CompTIA A+ exam?

CompTIA A+ 220-1001 (Core 1) & 220-1002 (Core 2). Current version of the A+ exam (launched January 15, 2019). As with the previous release (220-901 & 220-902), this exam is scheduled to retire approximately three years from its release date. CompTIA A+ 220-901 & 220-902 launched December 15, 2015.

Beside above, how hard is the CompTIA A+ exam? The exam is actually very hard for someone with lets say a 5 in computer knowledge, WHY you ask. Well the A+ exam covers LOTS. Yes its pretty easy for a 2 - 3 year PC admin, but if you are new or "I played World of Warcraft, or downloaded movies" type of user then you will have lots to study.

Likewise, people ask, is CompTIA A+ worth it in 2019?

Yes CompTIA A+ Worth a lot back in 2000s but in CompTIA A+ in 2019 worth nothing and one of the Worst IT Certifications. If you really need IT Certifications in order to get into the IT Workforce than get the MCSE from Microsoft. A+ is an entry-level computer certification for PC computer service technicians.

What is the passing score for A+?

The passing score for the 220-901 exam is 675 (on a scale of 900). The passing score for the 220-902 exam is 700 (on a scale of 900). This equates roughly to a required passing score of 72% and 75% respectively, though it is difficult to compute the exact worth of each question.

Difference between the new A+ 220-1001 and the CompTIA A+ 220-901 certification. First, about the exam number, 220-1001 is the exam number replacing 220-901. The new exam also gets a name and that is Core 1. A+ being an entry-level certification, it is a rather wider than deep credential.

What is the difference between A+ 901 and 902?

901 is computing basics, like hardware, networking, etc. 902 is about operating systems, like Windows, OSX (Mac), Android, and iOS. If you mean “better” like “easier”, that doesn't work either. They are both challenging but on different subjects.

Is CompTIA Network+ hard?

I find this exam to be unbearably hard. If you've taken any CompTIA Exam's, you know the standard format and how difficult the questions can be. The Network+ I find is again, much worse. I have found the new N10-006 to be the hardest exam I have ever taken, and I study very hard.
