Algae are considered simple, plant-like organisms. They are "plant-like" because they photosynthesize and "simple" because they do not have the distinct organization of higher plants such as organs and vascular tissue.
Simply so, what type of organism are plants?
Plantae
Keeping this in consideration, what are three types of organisms that are made of plant cells?
The green algae, brown algae, red algae and most golden algae are unequivocally composed of plant cells with cellulose cell walls and plastids.
There are several different types of organisms, including: producers, scavengers, parasites, consumers, predators, carnivores, omnivores, herbivores and decomposers.
- Producers. . Producers make their own food using the sun.
- Scavengers. .
- Parasites. .
- Consumers. .
- Predators. .
- Carnivores. .
- Omnivores. .
- Herbivores. .
