Why do PopSockets not stick to silicone?

18
The PopSockets grip's gel is designed to stick to most materials, but it sometimes has issues with sticking to silicone and waterproof cases and anything with too much texture. If the gel on the back of your PopSockets grip gets dirty, it may not stick as well. Just give it a quick rinse and let it dry.

Also question is, can a Popsocket stick to silicone?

PopSockets adhere to most phones, tablets, and cases. They sometimes have trouble sticking to silicone, leather, and waterproof cases, as well as some highly textured cases.

Also, do PopSockets ruin phone cases? Yes, unless the case is leather, waterproof, or made of rubber/silicone, then it won't hold as well if at all.

Beside this, do PopSockets stick to Apple silicone cases?

Unfortunately PopSockets do not adhere well to true silicone. They actually adhere very well to Apple silicone cases.

Why does my Popsocket keeps falling off?

If the gel on the back of your PopSockets grip gets dirty, it may not stick as well. Just give it a quick rinse and let it dry. Remember, your PopSockets grip shouldn't be exposed to air for more than 15 minutes or the gel will dry out. After attaching your PopSockets grip resist the urge to pop it for at least 1 hour.

How do PopSockets stick?

Simply put, PopSockets make your phone easier to grip. They attach to the back of cellphones or tablets, and they expand and collapse, letting the user hold the phone securely for texting, calling, surfing, selfies and looking at photos. PopSockets allow the hand to relax while still keeping a firm grip on the phone.

Does PopSocket leave residue?

The pad is reusable, and leaves no sticky residue. If your PopTek pad gets dirty when detached, simply wash it with water and let it air dry to return its original stickiness. But don't leave your PopSocket unattached to anything for days — if that happens, the adhesive will permanently dry out.

How do you remove a pop socket?

The best way to remove it is to flatten it and peel up slowly from one side of the platform (the sticky part), don't pull up with your PopSocket expanded or it might Pop out of the base. If you're having trouble with that, try a bit of dental floss! Just slide it under your PopSocket platform to peel it away.
